Aan André met jou 7de verjaarsdag. Mag jy elke dag weet hoe spesiaal jy is en mag daai magic smile van jou altyd skitter!
André was a seven-year-old boy with a smile so bright it could melt the biggest iceberg in the ocean. He loved pretending to be a superhero, zooming around the house as if he wore an invisible cape. Born on a sunny day in February, he was full of energy and ready to live life to the fullest. Even superheroes have tough beginnings, but André was proving to be the bravest of them all.

When André was five, his heart felt very sore because he lost his mommy, but a new chapter was about to start. He moved to beautiful Cape Town to live with his Aunt Zeldine, Uncle Juan, and cousin Zandri, who welcomed him with open arms. Dad Juan, who loved working with his hands, promised to build a safe life for him. Mom Zeldine wrapped him in warm hugs, telling him they loved him to the moon and back.

André was still learning how to adapt to his new home, but he had the best helper, a dog named Rozy. Rozy became his trusty sidekick, following him everywhere with a happy, wagging tail. Mom Zeldine’s soft heart made sure André always felt comfortable and loved. With Rozy by his side, André's cute smile started to shine brighter every single day.

His new big sister, Zandri, was ten years old and loved music, drama, and art. She was a bubbly extrovert who immediately made André part of her fun world. Zandri told everyone that André was the sweetest boy she knew, and she loved being his sissy. Their home was soon filled with laughter, songs, and the busy noise of a happy family.

Time flew by, and after finishing Grade R in 2025, André was proud to start Grade 1. He discovered a new passion on the rugby field, playing with his friends every morning before class. Running with the ball made him feel strong and fast, just like the heroes in his comic books. He loved being part of a team and seeing his family cheer for him.

Although his older brother Sebastien lived in a different city, he visited as often as he could. When Sebastien arrived, André’s face lit up with joy, and the two brothers spent hours talking and playing. Even though they didn't live in the same house anymore, their bond was unbreakable. It comforted André to know that his big brother was always there for him.

One afternoon during Sebastien's visit, Mom Zeldine and Dad Juan arranged a special trip to the seaside. André loved the ocean, but today they were there to send a message to his late mommy. They stood on the sand holding bright balloons, blowing kisses to the sky to say a loving goodbye. It was a peaceful moment that helped heal André's heart just a little bit more.

As they watched the balloons float high into the air, Mom Zeldine and Dad Juan squeezed André’s hands tight. They reminded him that he was a super special gift to their family and that he was deeply loved. André looked at Sebastien, Zandri, and his parents, feeling the warmth of their love surround him. With a superhero smile, André knew this was the start of a wonderful new beginning.
