Kima in laziness kingdom

By Abdellah Boutaramt

To my love

Queen Kima ruled the Kingdom of Laziness. She loved soft pillows, but she was also a very curious seven-year-old. She wanted the whole world to learn how to relax and be lazy!

Kima bravely marched out of her castle to share her lazy rules. Soon, she found a busy village. The people were working very hard, carrying heavy rocks one by one.

'Stop working so hard!' Kima called out. 'You should sit down and be lazy like me!' The tired workers sighed and said they had to finish building their houses.

Kima loved exploring, so she looked around the dusty yard. She spotted a round, smooth log and had a brilliant idea. She placed a big wooden board on the rolling log.

She piled the heavy rocks on top of her new cart. Now the workers could roll many rocks at once! 'Hooray!' they cheered. 'We finished so fast, now we can rest!'

Next, Kima saw a farmer watering his thirsty plants with a tiny cup. Running back and forth to the river looked much too tiring. Kima wanted the farmer to take a nap!

Curious Kima used a stick to dig a little path from the river to the garden. The cool water flowed all by itself! The happy farmer smiled and sat under a shady tree.

Kima did not make the world stop working, she just taught them to work smart! By finding easier ways to do things, everyone had time to play. The brave Queen of Laziness was the smartest ruler of all.
