Dedicate this to my students
One sunny morning, Sadaf Ma’am and her Grade 3 students were busy cleaning out the dusty classroom cupboard. Suddenly, amidst the old books and papers, they found something shocking inside—a real, shiny aeroplane! "Oh! We completely forgot we had this," laughed Sadaf Ma’am, adjusting her glasses and smoothing her abaya. Everyone cheered with excitement, deciding right then and there to take it for a spin.

The class climbed aboard, and soon they were flying higher, and higher, and higher into the blue sky. They zoomed past clouds and birds, but suddenly, the engine sputtered and the fuel ran out completely. The aeroplane drifted quietly through space until it landed softly on the dusty, gray surface of the moon.

The moon was silent, cold, and very dark. When Sadaf Ma’am tried to turn on their flashlights, the batteries flickered and died, leaving them in pitch blackness. The children huddled together, feeling scared as they heard strange clanking noises coming from the shadows nearby.

Just then, they realized they weren't alone, but the stranger was in trouble too! They saw a green Martian standing by a smoking spaceship; his engine had broken when he bumped into the moon. After a friendly chat, Sadaf Ma'am and the Martian decided to work together so everyone could get back home.

Brave Sadaf Ma’am lowered a long rope from the moon and climbed all the way down to Earth. She splashed into the ocean, swam across the waves, and ran to her house to collect tools and a can of petrol. Exhausted from the long swim, she sat on her favourite couch for a moment and got distracted by her favourite cartoon on TV.

Oops! She almost forgot to go back until she remembered her waiting students and rushed out the door. She climbed the highest peak of a mountain and shouted towards the stars until a rope dropped down from the sky. Sadaf Ma’am grabbed hold, and the students and the Martian pulled her all the way back up to the moon.

Working quickly, Sadaf Ma’am and the students used the tools to fix the Martian’s broken spaceship engine. In return, the Martian happily filled their aeroplane with fuel so they could fly again. Everyone hugged and thanked each other for the help, happy that their vehicles were working once more.

The Martian zoomed off one way towards Mars, and Sadaf Ma’am flew the students safely back to Earth. It had been a long, crazy adventure, and as they landed, they looked up at the night sky. They all wondered, "Will we ever meet our friend again?"
