One sunny morning, Alfie found something shiny hidden under the big oak tree in his garden. It was a rusty old rocket, just waiting to fly!

Alfie was clever, so he decided to fix the rocket. He tightened screws, cleaned windows, and gave it a bright red paint.

When the rocket was ready, Alfie put on his special space helmet. His heart raced as he counted down, "Three, two, one… blast off!"

The rocket zoomed into the sky, past the clouds and stars. Soon, Alfie was on the moon, where the ground was soft and gray.

Suddenly, a little pink alien popped out from behind a crater. The alien smiled and waved its long, curly arms.

Alfie and the pink alien became friends quickly. They played moon tag and shared stories from their homes.

After a fun day, it was time to go home. Alfie said goodbye and promised to visit his new friend on the moon again.

As the rocket floated back down, Alfie felt happy. He knew that adventure and friendship were the best things in space and on Earth!
