Aria woke up early. Today was her very first day at school! Her tummy felt funny, like butterflies were fluttering inside.

She put on her bright pink backpack and held her mom’s hand tight. The big school doors looked so tall and a little scary.

Inside, Aria saw kids laughing and playing. A friendly teacher smiled and said, "Welcome, Aria! We’re going to have so much fun!"

Aria smiled back and felt brave. Maybe school wasn’t so scary after all. She was ready to learn and make new friends!
