Little James has soft brown hair and bright blue eyes. Today he is playing at the ODC. Sometimes, James takes toys without asking. That is a bad choice that makes his heart feel very small.

A sweet friend at the ODC comes to help. His friend says that we can learn to be kind together. Good choices make your heart grow bigger and bigger. James really wants a big and happy heart.

His friend gives him some great ideas. We can share our toy blocks and give gentle high fives. We can help clean up and use our nice words. James is ready to try being a kind friend.

James smiles and hands a shiny red toy to his friend. Thank you, says his friend with a big hug. That is a very good choice! James feels his heart grow so big and warm inside.
