Little Kira goes for a walk in the park. The sun shines bright and warm. Kira looks around with wide eyes. She wants to find new animal friends today.

Look! A small gray bird lands on the path. Hop, hop, hop! It comes very close to Kira's feet. The little bird is not scared at all.

Kira smiles at her new friend. "You are very brave," she says softly. "I will name you Brave One!" The bird chirps a happy song.

Kira walks further and sees something orange. A ginger cat naps in the sun. Its fluffy tail looks just like a little flame.

"Hello, kitty," whispers Kira. "You are bright and warm. I will name you Spark!" The cat opens one eye and purrs.

Kira runs to the blue pond. Splash, splash! A mother duck swims with her babies. One tiny duckling paddles very hard to keep up.

"You go so fast!" cheers Kira. "I will name you Speedy." The little duck wiggles its tail feathers and swims away.

It is time to go home. Kira waves to Brave One, Spark, and Speedy. She loves giving names to her special friends. The world is full of fun surprises!
