Lana's story

By lily zhang

Little Lana has bright golden hair. One sunny day, she walks in the big green forest. She sees a pretty blue butterfly. "Wait for me!" Lana laughs. She runs and runs to catch it.

Oh no, the butterfly flies away. Lana stops and looks around. The path is all gone. Lana feels a little scared, but she takes a big, deep breath. She is a brave girl.

Rustle, rustle go the leaves. A friendly little squirrel hops out. "Follow the water," says the kind squirrel. Lana looks and sees a shiny, splashing stream. She follows the water step by step.

Soon, Lana sees her lovely house. "Mum!" she calls out happily. Her mother gives her a big, warm hug. Lana is so glad to be safe at home. She knows she is very brave!
