Lily wiggled her toes inside the dark, cozy space. It was very tight in here! She was sitting inside a big red postbox, surrounded by tall piles of white letters.

The air smelled like old paper and ink. Lily tried to stand up, but her head bumped the cold metal roof. *Clunk!* She giggled and sat back down on a soft, brown package.

A thin slice of bright sunlight shined through the mail slot. Lily peeked out with one eye. She saw giant shoes walking by on the busy street and a big blue bus zooming past.

Suddenly, the metal flap squeaked open. A hand dropped a pink envelope right onto Lily’s head! It tickled her ear as it slid down to the floor.

"I wonder where I am going?" Lily whispered to a colorful stamp. The postbox started to rumble and shake like a rocket ship. The letters began to float in the air.

The envelopes flapped their corners just like little bird wings. They swirled around Lily, lifting her up, up, up! She felt as light as a feather floating in the sky.

*Poof!* The floating letters turned into her soft, fluffy pillow. The cold metal walls turned into her sunny yellow bedroom curtains. A warm breeze blew gently on her face.

Lily yawned and rubbed her sleepy eyes. She was not in the mail after all! It was just a silly dream, and now it was time for pancakes.
