For the little lights and future

Every Saturday, a cute little boy named Khaled goes to the zoo. Khaled has warm brown skin and soft brown hair. He loves animals more than anything else in the world. Today, he is very excited to visit his best friends.

Khaled runs to the big wooden fence to see his first friend, a tall and friendly horse. He reaches into his bag and pulls out a crunchy red apple. The horse neighs happily and eats the yummy treat right out of Khaled's hand.

Next, Khaled walks over to the bright sunny meadow. A fluffy little sheep runs up to greet him with a happy bleat. Khaled feeds the sheep some sweet green grass and gently pets its thick woolly coat.

Finally, Khaled hurries to see a soft gray rabbit named Luna. But today, Luna is not alone in her cozy hutch. Luna has a brand new family of tiny, wiggly baby bunnies!

Khaled sits very gently on the ground so he does not scare Luna and her family. The baby bunnies have long floppy ears and cute twitchy noses. Khaled feeds Luna a bright orange carrot to help her grow strong.

Soon, the little bunnies feel brave and hop all around Khaled's shoes. The tall horse and the fluffy sheep look over the fence to watch the fun. Khaled giggles loudly because the baby bunnies tickle his toes.

Khaled decides it is time for a special animal picnic. He gives more apples to the horse, more clovers to the sheep, and extra carrots to Luna and her family. All the animals munch and crunch their yummy snacks together.

The sun begins to set, and it is time for Khaled to go home. He waves goodbye to the horse, the sheep, and little Luna's bunny family. Khaled smiles all the way home, knowing he will see them again next week.
