To my favourite mermaid Love, mommy
Little Aria was digging in the warm sand when she found a shiny, swirling blue shell. As she ran into the waves to wash it, her legs magically turned into a shimmering pink tail! She wiggled her new fins and realized she had become a mermaid!

Aria did a happy flip in the water and met two friendly mermaids named Lily and Joy. They had sparkles in their hair and big smiles on their faces. They were so magical, that their tails kept changing colours. "Come play with us!" they giggled, leading Aria on a fast swim.

They zoomed past a family of squeaky dolphins and waved at a giant, slow sea turtle. The ocean was full of bright colors and funny creatures. Aria felt curious and excited to explore every corner of this new world.

Suddenly, a grumpy octopus blocked the path to the coral playground, waving his many arms. "Go away!" he shouted, scaring Lily and Joy behind a rock. The little mermaids didn't know what to do, but Aria knew she had to be brave.

Aria swam right up to the octopus, feeling confident and proud. "Excuse me, Mr. Octopus," she said kindly but firmly. "It is not nice to be mean, and we would like to pass, please."

The octopus looked surprised that someone so small was so brave. He lowered his arms and moved aside with a sorry look. Aria's friends cheered and thanked her for standing up for them.

After a fun game of tag with the fish, Aria saw the sun starting to set above the water. She missed her mommy and daddy, and she really wanted a piece of yummy chocolate. She hugged her new best friends goodbye.

Aria swam to the shore, and as soon as she touched the sand, her legs came back. She ran into her parents' arms, ready to tell them all about her magical mermaid adventure. She could not wait to go back tomorrow!
