One sunny morning, Alfie saw something strange at the bakery. A person was sneaking out with a big, yummy cake! Alfie knew he had to help.

"Stop!" said Alfie, as he ran fast, his little legs going as quickly as they could. The cake thief looked surprised and started to run too.

Alfie chased and caught the cake thief right before they could get away. He held the cake safely and smiled, feeling very proud.

A friendly police woman saw what Alfie did. "You are very brave and kind," she said, giving Alfie a shiny medal. Alfie felt happy and special!
