What a busy year 2025 has been for Poppy and Oliver! They loved going for long walks and playing in the park together. Their favorite adventure was taking their bikes and zooming up and down the big, grassy hills.

Oliver had a very important job helping Baps on the farm. He climbed up into the big tractors and looked at the giant combine harvester with wide eyes. He loved pretending to drive and shouting, "Beep, beep!"

When summer came, the family packed their bags for a holiday in Spain. Poppy and Oliver were so excited to go on a big airplane. They flew high above the clouds and watched the world get smaller below them.

Spain was sunny and full of fun. They splashed in the blue swimming pool and built tall sandcastles on the sandy beach. best of all, they ate lots of yummy, melting ice cream every day.

It was a very special year for Poppy because she started school at Trinity. She put on her new uniform and met her lovely teacher, Mrs. Aspin. Poppy felt very grown-up and ready to learn.

School was full of exciting things to do. Poppy loved exploring nature during Forest School and running fast in PE class. She was so happy to make lots of new friends to play with in the playground.

Poppy also practiced her dancing at ballet class. She performed in a wonderful show where she dressed up as a magical wizard and a sparkly Barbie doll. She twirled and leaped across the stage with a big smile.

For a special treat, Poppy and Mummy had a girls' day out. They went to the theater to see The Nutcracker ballet. Poppy watched the beautiful dancers and clapped her hands with joy.

Both Poppy and Oliver had so much energy at gymnastics class. Poppy loved swinging back and forth on the bars like a little monkey. Oliver’s favourite thing was jumping really, really high on the trampoline.

They had lots of cozy sleepovers at Nana and Baps' house. It was always fun to wear pajamas, hear bedtime stories, and play games together. Nana and Baps have the best house for hide and seek.

There was plenty of playtime with all their cousins, too. They ran around with Theo, Edith, Flora, Rosie, and Ralph. Everyone was very gentle and sweet with the new baby, Annabelle.

Now, Poppy and Oliver are getting ready for a lovely Christmas. They have decorated their tree with shiny baubles and written special letters to Father Christmas. It is the perfect end to a happy year.
