Rabbit's story

By Lily Zhang

小兔在森林里迷路了,她找不到妈妈

Lana got lost in the park. She looked all around, but she couldn’t find her mum anywhere.

She stood next to a big tree, holding her little backpack tight. Her eyes were watery and she felt very small.

Just then, a gentle little dog ran over to her. It wagged its tail and looked up with kind eyes. “What’s wrong?” the dog seemed to ask.

Lana looked at her new furry friend and said softly, “I can’t find my mum.”

The dog led Lana to a bench nearby. A park helper wearing a bright yellow vest was sitting there.

The helper knelt down and smiled warmly. “Don’t worry, little one,” he said. “We will find your mum together.”

Soon, Mum came running towards them. “Lana!” she called out with open arms. Lana ran happily into her mum’s hug.

Mum held her close. “Thank you for asking for help,” she said. Lana nodded and smiled as the wind blew softly in the park. Everything felt safe and happy again.
