The stadium buzzed with cheers. Robbie stood at the sideline in his blue and white kit, his blonde spikey hair bouncing in the wind. He was seven years old and ready to watch his team.

The scoreboard showed the other team was winning. Robbie frowned but clapped loudly. He cheered for his favourite player, number eight.

Suddenly number eight fell and sat down holding his leg. The crowd grew quiet. Robbie's heart thumped, but he kept his hands clenched with hope.

Robbie ran to the manager and asked if he could play. The manager looked surprised and then smiled. Robbie spoke with brave eyes and a steady voice.

The manager nodded and gave Robbie a spare jersey. Robbie pulled on extra socks and tied his boots tight. His blue and white kit felt like a superhero outfit.

Robbie ran onto the field with a big breath. He passed the ball, chased it, and did a brave slide to win it back. His teammates cheered and passed to him.

Near the goal Robbie kicked the ball with all his might. It flew past the goalie and landed in the net. The crowd roared and his team hugged him tight.

Robbie smiled with mud on his knees and his blonde spikey hair messy. The manager lifted him up and the injured player smiled and high fived him. Everyone clapped because Robbie was brave and helped his team win.
