To nanny and grandad on my first Christmas love Ronnie James Keville
Ronnie sits in his buggy with his chunky legs wiggling. He has a very stern face. "Let's go shopping!" sings Nanny. Off they go on a big adventure.

Nanny buys lots of fun things. A soft bear and a shiny car go into the bag. Ronnie makes a loud noise. "Baa!" he shouts happily.

They come home with heavy bags. There are so many new presents! Nanny smiles and unpacks the boxes. Rip, rip, open go the toys.

Grandad walks into the room. He sees the pile of rubbish on the floor. "Oh no! Too much cardboard!" he moans. Grandad looks very grumpy.

The floor is full of boxes. Grandad shakes his head and sighs. He sits down in his soft chair to rest. He needs a break from the mess.

Grandad takes a sip of his cold beer. Sip, sip. He is still frowning at the cardboard. Ronnie watches him closely with big eyes.

Ronnie reaches out with his little hand. Grab! He plays with Grandad’s beard. Tug, tug, tug! Grandad looks down in surprise.

Grandad starts to smile. He laughs a big, loud laugh. He gives chunky Ronnie a huge cuddle. No one is grumpy anymore!
