The little bean

Bean is a little green bean with a big nose, huge eyes, and tiny legs. He loves zooming around his family's garden looking for hidden lollipops. His parents and two siblings stay tucked in the warm, safe dirt. The garden is full of bright sunlight and cool water that helps them all grow big and strong.

One sunny day, Bean meets a very talkative butterfly named But. But is fluttering around on pretty wings covered in bright, colorful dots. Sadly, But is crying because someone picked all the blooming flowers in the garden. Without the flowers, the hungry little butterfly has no sweet nectar to drink.

Bean wants to help his colorful friend find food right away. He waves his little green arms at the children playing nearby in the dirt. He shows them how to gently water the thirsty green plants instead of pulling them out. Bean knows that giving plants what they need to grow is the best way to help animals too!

The children carefully pour water over the soil, and soon beautiful new flowers begin to bloom. But flutters happily from petal to petal, sipping the delicious nectar. Bean smiles his little mouth as he watches his friend eat. He learns that taking good care of nature is even sweeter than finding a shiny lollipop!
